When 21 Savage tweeted “6-1-17” a month ago, wild guesses were aplenty but it seemed like a sure shot that he’d do one of the following two things: drop his highly anticipated “Issa” collaboration with Drake and Young Thug (which has since leaked online) or release his debut album.

So minutes before June 1st turned to June 2nd, the rapper delivered a surprise, but it was none of the mentioned. Instead, he dropped a new track and video to accompany for “All The Smoke,” his first solo record in a while.

Sticking to the sinister theme that shadows his music, 21 accompanied the Southside-produced record with a horror film-inspired visual that brings Halloween to June, courtesy of director Matthew Swanky.

With “All the Smoke” comes the anticipation for the #IssaAlbum, which according to 21 is arriving “very very soon!”
