SZA shares new song "Broken Clocks"

Now that SZA has finally announced the release date for her upcoming debut album Ctrl—after we wrongfully waited for it in February—the singer is building anticipation by gifting fans with a snippet of a new track, “Broken Clocks.”

Following the self-described “brown grunge” of “Drew Barrymore” and the Travis Scott-assisted “Love Galore,” the new song puts skittering percussion in the forefront and atmospheric sounds in the background as SZA sings:

“I just take it day by day / Never hearing what they say / I just do it my way / All I got is / These broken clocks / I ain’t got no time / Just burning daylight / Still love and it’s still love…”
