It could be May 27th, sound like July 4th. At last night’s Hennypalooza party in Brooklyn, Cam’ron took the stage after a robust fireworks display and began his set with his operatic theme “Killa Cam.” Cam was the main attraction, secured by another Kam, Hennypalooza founder Kameron McCollough.

A few thousand flooded Coney Island last night for the extravaganza. For those not familiar, Hennypalooza is one of the most popular parties on social media. What started off three years ago in McCollough’s apartment, has turned into 21 popular events in the likes of New Orleans, Atlanta, St. Martin and multiple times in New York.

DJ Kid Capri and Austin Millz were among the openers at the Coney Art Walls at Coney Island for the six-hour party. Cam closed out, starting around 9:30 pm.

The Diplomats general went into his cauldron of hits, firing off “Down and Out” early in his short set and igniting the crowd with “Wet Wipes.”

“We gon’ keep it going till they turn music off,” Cam would say later. “Where the ladies at? Let me talk to the ladies.” On cue, Killa’s DJ started “Suck It or Not.”

Cam’s finale was the Diplomats classic “I Really Mean It,” and the party didn’t stop there. Some of the fans traveled to Manhattan’s Webster Hall for the official after party.
