Mac Miller was set to perform at a pair of star-studded music festivals this weekend, but he canceled both – possibly in an effort to support someone special to him.

Miller had sets scheduled at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in George, Washington and the Soundset 2017 festival in St. Paul, Minnesota. Sasquatch! had Chance The Rapper, MGMT and Phantogram on the lineup, while Soundset had Travis Scott, Lauryn Hill, and Gucci Mane among the performers.

But the rapper/producer revealed in a Friday tweet that he wouldn’t be performing at either event: “Soundset and Sasquatch, I will not be performing this weekend. Thank you for understanding. I’ll be back. Love always.”

Miller’s girlfriend is Ariana Grande, whose concert in Manchester, England was followed by a terrorist attack that killed 22 people and injured more than 100 others. She has postponed the rest of her tour as a result

While Mac Miller hasn’t directly said that he was canceling the shows to support Grande, it seems like a safe assumption. He still has more tours scheduled for the end of June and some of July.
