Meek Mill took an L in the eyes of many rap fans for his rap battle with Drake, but he’s using his mistakes to push forward.

The MMG star made a post on Instagram recently of him driving and listening to “Back To Back,” Drake’s victory-sealing song from their 2015 beef. “I play this for motivation,” Meek wrote over top of the video. “Back 2 back aventadors,” he continued, referring to the model of Lamborghini he was driving.

For anyone who has trouble remembering, Meek Mill accused Drake of having ghostwriters in a 2015 tweet. Drizzy dropped “Charged Up” as a warning shot before sealing the victory with “Back To Back,” a song that ended up peaking the Billboard Hot 100 charts at no. 21, being one of the biggest cultural moments of the summer, and winning a Grammy for Best Rap Performance. Meek’s reputation took a hit as a result.

Rick Ross recently revealed that the name of Meek’s upcoming album is Wins and Losses. If Meek uses this loss as motivation, will that mean his next record can spark a comeback?
