TDE has already made an early stamp with Kendrick Lamar’s platinum-selling DAMN., and now the crew has announced a release date for SZA’s long-awaited Ctrl – with help from the Abbot of the Wu-Tang Clan.

A new video clip depicts SZA reclining in front of a pile of old, broken down computers, as none other than the legendary RZA shouts out the TDE songstress over a violin-heavy instrumental. The clip then says Ctrl and reveals the date: June 9, 2017.

TDE President Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith said on Twitter that SZA’s album – the follow-up to her 2014 debut Z – would be the company’s next release after DAMN. The singer/songwriter dropped the single “Drew Barrymore” in January, and in April she released “Love Galore,” a single featuring Travis Scott. She also recently announced a deal with Sony’s RCA Records, which will release the album.
