In the wake of the ISIS-affiliated bombing that claimed the lives of 22 people at an Ariana Grance concert in Manchester, England on Monday (May 22), the singer has suspended her European tour through June 5.
A statement issued to Billboard by her management read:
“Due to the tragic events in Manchester the ‘Dangerous Woman’ tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost. The London O2 shows this week have been canceled as well as all shows thru June 5 in Switzerland. We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence. Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together. Thank you.”
The cancellation affects seven shows over the next two weeks:
May 25 | O2 Arena, London
May 26 | O2 Arena, London
May 28 | Sportspaleis, Belgium
May 31 | Atlas Arena, Poland
June 1 | Atlas Arena, Poland
June 3 | Festhale, Germany
June 5 | Hallenstadion, Switzerland
However, according to Live Nation, ticket buyers will receive refunds.
Grande will continue her tour on June 7 at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris, France.
