Desiigner brought a night of glow sticks and guitars to New York City on Monday night, as he turned out the stage for the hometown show of his The Outlet Tour. As fans in the crowd held glow sticks and illuminated the stands, the G.O.O.D. Music signee performed with a live band and blessed the Playstation Theatre with endless energy.

The self-proclaimed “Harmony God” spent almost as most time in the crowd, shirtless, as he did on the stage. The melody was abundant with the fans singing along to one of his big hits “Timmy Turner.”

“Tiimmy, Tiimmy, Tiimmy Turner,” he sang as the audience followed. The words to the chorus were on a big screen behind him. “He been wishin’ for a burner/To kill everybody walkin’/He knows that his soul’s in the furnace…”

Before the finale of his no. 1 hit song “Panda,” the stage was filled with Kranium, Rich The Kid, and Corey Finesse as special guests. Fred The Godson and Jaquae opened up before Desiigner’s performance.

“Madness out there,” an ecstatic Desiigner said after his set. “New York City at Playstation Theater. Shut down ya dig. Brought out my special guests, Lox, Corey Finesse, Rich The Kid. Y’all know what time it is. Stay tuned.”

Desiigner recently surprised his followers on Twitter when he tweeted “Fuck NY Radio.” While on the Breakfast Club show this week, the recently turned 20-year-old cleared up his comments.

“I want more play and that’s it,” he explained.

He explained to the show’s host that after “Panda,” he didn’t get the support that wanted on other records like “Timmy Turner.” He released his New English mixtape in June 2016, and dropped a three-pack of new songs in early April as The Outlet Tour began.

“Honestly too, I took it down,” he added of the Tweet. “It was probably a bitch moment. I’m never on that type of vibe. I wanna make it better for my tri-state.”
