Travis Scott and Quavo are the Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty of hip-hop. Like the famed tag-team wrestling duo of early WWE fame, where they were billed “The Rockers,” the rap pair exhibit a chemistry that is hotter than a rocket and harder than sweet chin music.

The fluid combination between them is a result of a number of things. There’s the charismatic melodies behind their respective sound. There’s the enchanting charm they bring to records. There’s the infectious energy. All in all, La Flame and Huncho are the dynamic duo behind one undeniable hot streak. So when they decide to drop that joint album the rap world is buzzing about, expect the percentage to increase.

As previously teased these last couple of months, the rap stars are baking up a collaborative album that, as Scott assures, will arrive out of nowhere. In an interview with GQ, the “Goosebumps” rapper was asked about the anticipated project, and while he remained tight-lipped, he made it clear that it’s arriving “soon.”

“The Quavo album is coming soon,” he shared. “I’m dropping new music soon. You know how I do it though: I like surprises.” The interview came hours before Scott uploaded three new bangers onto his SoundCloud page, including a feature from Playboi Carti. “We’re all about surprises,” he added.

Travis previously teased the project back in March, just days after the pair tagged into Drake’s More Life for the standout “Portland.” They also joined forces for “Go Off” with Lil Uzi Vert in April and later previewed some of their work on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show, including one produced by Murda Beatz titled “Lo-Fi.”

Given their winning chemistry, how infectiousness behind their collective tunes, and the hype driven on each release, it’s a rare moment to find two acts at the top of their (individual) crafts, working together for one full-length project. So as the momentum builds, lets take a moment to revisit Huncho Jack‘s collaborative history hot streak with a quick recap courtesy of SoundCloud.
