The dust has settled. That happens to be how Remy Ma described the current status of her feud with Nicki Minaj.

5 things we learned from the Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj beef

After setting the internet ablaze with their war of words earlier this year, Remy Ma has now decided to move on. Stopping by “The Real,” where she played guest co-host, the Bronx rapper explained that “the dust has settled” in the war and noted her reasoning: “you have to stop at some point.” Not before long, Remy found time to send out one extra jab. “Some people don’t get that the dust has settled. But I can understand. It’s kinda hard to see the dust settling when you are in a grave under the dirt.”

The dart aside, Remy also mentioned that she has matured and wants to move forward. “That old Remy Ma, I woulda been beasting still, going extra hard,” she said. “I say all the time, I’m petty. But there is a thin line between petty and pathetic. You have to stop at some point.”

Earlier this year, the brewing feud between Remy and Nicki bubbled up to the surface with the release of “SHEther.” The scathing diss track was released following the release of Nicki’s guest verses on Jason Derulo’s “Swalla” and Gucci Mane’s “Make Love.” Remy later released a second diss track “Another One,” days after “SHEther.” In response, Nicki followed up with three tracks, including “No Frauds” with Drake and Lil Wayne.
