Kanye West is reportedly hard at work on a new album, and according to TMZ, he is “holed up” in a retreat on top of a mountain in Wyoming.

According to TMZ, West has apparently been up in the unnamed mountain for about a week and he also traveled there two weeks earlier. West is said to be “smack in the middle of the creative process.” The news comes after West purged his Twitter and Instagram accounts last week.

This scenario sounds much familiar to the move West pulled in 2010, when he went on a self-imposed exile in Oahu, Hawaii to put work in on his fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Last year, Kanye West released The Life of Pablo, which recently became the first album to go platinum entirely from streams. The album was complemented with a tour, which was cut short after West was hospitalized for a reported breakdown. Weeks later the rapper traveled to Trump Tower in New York City and drew ire from fans and critics for visiting “friend” Donald Trump. Since then, West has deleted tweets supporting Trump.

His last announced album was Turbo Grafx 16, which was expected to arrive in the summer of last year. Since the announcement, Pete Rock has confirmed work on the project.
