Migos’ fans are so rabid for the Atlanta trio that you can’t stop them, you can only hope to contain them. And containing them entails having a huge stadium-sized space. On Sunday in Miami at the Rolling Loud music festival, Quavo, Takeoff and Offset were originally scheduled to perform at the smaller Monster Energy stage 2. However, so many fans came to the amphitheater, the fire department shut the stage down and everyone had to regroup.
About an hour later, Migos were rerouted to the main stage, where up to 40,000 people could fit comfortably – and literally a sea of humans flooded the area to get turnt up.
Migos makes the crowd go nuts with “T-Shirt” at Rolling Loud
“Fire hazard. The hazard way,” Quavo said after his group’s show. “They had to move us to a bigger stage so we could set that muthafucka on fire. That turned into another hazard. So we just the Dukes of Hazard. Migos of Hazard. Having that shit.”
“We ain’t doing nothing but stadiums,” Offset added. Barclays [Center] and shit like that.”
“A big place for the Migos. Ya dig,” Takeoff capped off.
Sunday at Rolling Loud, the bill was heavily ATL-centric. Playboi Carti had a set. Gucci Mane performed his own set and later came out with Migos. Future headlined.
“The culture is out. We the culture. That way,” Quavo said. “All my young niggas out here winning. We all loving it.”
While Migos was killing the stage, Diddy stood on the side vibing with his son Christian and rapper Joey Badass.
“Diddy my boy. He gives us great words of wisdom of how to add on to the stage,” Quavo revealed. “He’s the stage master. He’s speaking to the young stage masters. Had to pull up on him and show love to my boy Diddy.”
“Last time, Diddy pulled up on us in a yacht for Quavo’s birthday party,” Offset chimed in.
“He pulls up and rocks with the young niggas the right way,” Quavo continued.
“Take that. Take that,” Takeoff concluded.
