A warrant has been issued for Chief Keef’s arrest after the rapper failed to show up to his arraignment in Miami on Tuesday (May 2), according to TMZ.

The proceeding stemmed from DUI and drug possession charges that the rapper incurred last month after being pulled over by Miami Beach Police during a traffic stop-turned-drug bust.

At the time, officers stopped Keef in his green Maclaren, as well as a vehicle trailing behind him, after they spotted what appeared to be a “weed transfer” between the passengers. Both marijuana and a codeine-based drink were found during a search.

Now, upon missing his arraignment, a Miami judge has immediately issued a warrant for his arrest.

But Keef’s team doesn’t appear to be worried. A representative for the rapper sent a statement to The FADER written by Alki David, CEO of Hologram USA—the company that puts on Keef’s hologram concerts:

“Keef’s crack legal team will work this out. In the meantime Hologram USA is prepared to beam him in wherever he needs to go. Boldly, like no man has gone before.”
