Nearly four months into 2017, the numbers are in of last year’s best-selling music across the world.

Back in May, Beyoncé’s Lemonade nabbed the top spot on the Billboard 200 album chart and became the then-best-selling album of 2016 after moving 653,000 units in the U.S. during its first-week of release.

Turns out, the album maintained that stronghold – and did so worldwide.

According to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s (IFPI) recently-released Global Music Report, Lemonade was the highest-selling individual album of 2016 across the earth after making $2.5 million in sales (which counted both physical and digital).

Adele’s 25 and Drake’s Views trailed behind Bey with $2.4 million and $2.3 million in sales, respectively.

However, although Drake came in third for best-selling album, he still had the top digital song globally. His Kyla- and Wiz Kid-assisted hit “One Dance” moved $12.5 million in track sales and track-equivalent streams.

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry also named Drizzy the Global Recording Artist of the Year.

Can’t wait to see who nabs the titles for 2017.
