Kendrick Lamar didn’t release a second album on Easter as many thought, but maybe the conspiracy theorists weren’t that far off.

On Thursday night, Kendrick Lamar went to his hometown of Compton, Calif. to greet fans and sign copies of his new album DAMN. The incident was shared on Instagram Live, as thousands of supporters went to the Best Buy to get physical copies and meet their fav.

Around the 21-minute mark, Kendrick speaks to the camera to thank fans for their support, before revealing, “I got some more music.”

Many fans thought Kendrick would release another album on Easter Sunday, three days after the release of DAMN. But aside from Kid Capri’s revelation that he worked on more with Kendrick that didn’t appear on the album, there weren’t any hints aside from the fan theories. This is the first hint that those ideas may have some weight to them.

A Kendrick Lamar interview with Zane Lowe will air on Apple Music and Beats 1 today. Maybe he’ll give more details about the new music then?
