Brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd aren’t going to waste any of the momentum spawned from their five-time platinum track “Black Beatles” and all of their glowering stage appearances, including this month’s Coachella. They’ve been at work on SremmLife 3, their third LP in as many years.

When we caught up with the brother duo at our REVOLT House, Swae gave us hints as to the new project’s sounds, saying:

“New project coming soon. Loaded with bangers. Some left field, hard shit.”

His brother added, “And we gonna be alright if we got Swae on every hook!”

In the meantime, you can catch Swae on the hook for French Montana’s “Unforgettable.”

Of the fellow rapper, Swae said, “He’s the man. He’s got too much sauce. He’s a OG. He’s been banging. So we had to get that. That was the perfect record.”

Not only has the music video for the single been blowing up online, but so has footage of the collaborators, Drake, Belly, and others dancing to the song.

“That was six in the morning on a golf course with Drake,” Swae said. “It was lit. It was everybody, man. It was Diddy. Just young nigga shit.”

Still riding the high, Slim offered sympathy to those who couldn’t make it to the festival grounds, saying:

“If you wasn’t here at Coachella, I feel sorry for you.”

There is no release date yet for SremmLife 3, but the group has been previewing songs at various concerts.
