Kendrick Lamar to sit down with Zane Lowe on Friday

  /  04.18.2017

Kendrick Lamar’s music is plenty revealing, but fans will get to hear him speak his mind even more on Friday in an interview with Zane Lowe.

Lowe revealed on his Twitter account that his interview with K. Dot would air on Beats 1 and Apple Music on Friday, April 21. The interview will cover DAMN. and presumably several other topics, knowing Lowe’s propensity for in-depth conversations with musicians.

This will be Kendrick’s first public interview since the Friday, April 14 release of DAMN., his latest album that has earned an early 99 out of 100 score on Metacritic.

Many fans speculated that Kendrick would release another album on Easter Sunday that would be conceptually linked to DAMN. He performed an epic Coachella set with Future, Travis Scott and Schoolboy Q as guests, but no second album. But does Kendrick still have something else up his sleeve? Most artists would release their interviews with Zane Lowe the same week as their release, instead of waiting for the week after. Either way, we’ll have to tune in to find out.
