Joey Badass’s new album performed slightly worse than his first, but it’s still another top five placement for the Brooklyn rapper.

Billboard reports that All-Amerikkkan Badass, Joey’s sophomore album, sold 51,000 album equivalent units in its first week, with 28,000 of those being traditional album sales.

Those numbers are a few thousand less than his 2015 debut album B4.Da.$$, which sold 58,000 units in its first week. But both albums debuted at no. 5 on the Billboard 2000 album chart. His sociopolitical content may have hurt the first week sales, but the All-Amerikkkan Badass single “Devastated” has earned a gold plaque, making it his highest-selling single.

All-Amerikkkan Badass has accessible choruses and sounds to go along with his political stances, so only time will tell how the album does from here on out.
