DJ Khaled is known for making bold proclamations and following through with success. When he stepped onstage at Coachella for the first time ever on Sunday night for Weekend One’s closing day, the Miami mogul wasn’t shy about declaring what he’ll be doing at 2018’s festival.

“When I finish Coachella, they gonna ask me to headline next year,” he proclaimed.

Khaled started off already winning the crowd chanting his name. “Khaled, Khaled, Khaled!”

He then stepped out to the crowd, flourishing with All I Do Is Win,” a tease of “All The Way Up” and a tad bit of “On One.”

“I have so many surprises!” he announced before DJ Nasty cued up “Shinin,’” his collaboration with Jay Z and Beyoncé.

“Number one record. Give me one week,” he said. “I got so many surprises. “The headlines are going to change. ‘DJ Khaled Takes Coachella.’”

After performing “I Got The Keys,” Khaled said, “You might know I got this. Another one.”

“For Free” played next, with everyone singing Drake’s words.

As more “Khaled” chants prevailed, the King of Charisma ate it up and played to the fans more. “I’ve come to fuck up everything tonight,” he boasted.

A$AP Ferg came out for “Work” shortly after and gave just that to the crowd.

“Coogi down to the socks like I’m Big Poppa, baaaybayyy,” he beamed.

After an even more raucous rise with “New Level,” Ferg took the ground level, going into the crowd and standing on a barricade for “Shabba Ranks.”

“Makes some noise for Sylvester Stallone. The icon. Salute my brother,” Khaled said from onstage, paying homage to the legendary actor who was front row.

Enter 2 Chainz, the next surprise guest. Chainz hit the fans with a flurry of jams highlighted by his closers “Birthday Song” and “Watch Out.”

Migos, who seemed to be hitting up everyone’s set and parties Coachella weekend, came out next for “Bad and Boujee” and “Mama Told Me.” They can’t lose with that two-piece combo. Exhalted energy every time.

“They don’t want me to give you more guests, so I’m gonna give you more guests” Khaled promised. French Montana emerged for “All The Way Up” and his new record “Unforgettable.” Swae Lee, who sings the hook, also came out.

Khaled told Coachella he was going to introduce them to a friend he’s had for 25 years and grew up with “from the mud.”

Rick Ross came out with his heavy handed barn burners “BMF” and “Hustlin.” Ricky Rozay, then gave way to his MMG point guard Wale who struck with his verse from “No Hands.” Wale tagged back into to Ross, but before he could fully get back in the ring for “I’m A Boss,” all the mic and sound on the stage was cut. Khaled ran out of time.

It didn’t vex him at all. Khaled simply took of his black tee and soaked in some more “fan luv” before exiting with his friends.
