Playboi Carti has been receiving a lot of buzz lately after not only dropping two new songs on Soundcloud last month (“Woke Up Like This” and “Lookin,” both of which feature Lil Uzi Vert), but also upon launching a website with a mysterious countdown clock.

The clock will stop on April 14, leading some to believe it to be the release date for his upcoming debut album, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Until then, Carti fans are getting their money’s worth at shows. He turned all the way up at the Novo on Saturday night (April 8), and proved that he’s a real crowd pleaser after taking not one but two dives into the crowd during his performance of “What” (see below). The kids were going wild.

Consider that he’ll also be joining Gucci Mane on his upcoming TrapGod tour and it’s clear the young rapper is not playing in 2017.
