Both Kanye West and Rihanna have seen their fair share of success in the fashion world, he with his Adidas x Yeezy collection and she with her Puma x Fenty collaboration. But now both artists are simultaneously endeavoring into jewelry design.
Today (April 7), ‘Ye took to his online Yeezy Supply store to debut a line of rings, bracelets, and pendant-adorned necklaces. A collaboration with Jacob the Jeweler’s Jacob Arabo, the 12 pieces are all made of 18k yellow gold and were inspired by 14th-century Florentine art. They range in price from $1,530 (a ring with the raised phrases “God” and “Dream”) to $13,360 (a 60-inch chain).
West told VOGUE of the collection, “I wanted to create something that represented timeless love.”

Additionally, Rihanna has collaborated with Swiss jewelry and watch brand Chopard to design her own series of glamorous pieces. Inspired by her home country of Barbados (“from the Caribbean beaches and gardens to the vibrant colors of its Carnival,” according to Billboard), the nine-piece collection includes the multi-colored chandelier earrings she wore to the 2017 Grammys, as well as diamond ear clip.

Of the collection, Rihanna said, “I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe. It was a really incredible process and I learned so much! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
It will debut at Cannes Film Festival in May.
