It looks like Top Dawg Entertainment will be taking over 2017!
On Saturday, TDE President Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith took to Twitter to announce all of the albums that the label plans to drop this year and it’s safe to say that some fire is on the way.
After Kendrick Lamar releases his latest project which, due to the threat he made on “The Heart Part 4,” is rumored to drop this weekend (April 7), SZA will unveil her debut album CTRL which, according to Top Dawg, “is amazing.”
Tiffith also revealed that ScHoolboy Q’s fifth studio album will arrive after both K. Dot and SZA’s projects.
While the president of the label covered the majority of the TDE team with informative clues on their forthcoming releases, we can’t forget about Jay Rock.
When a fan asked Top Dawg if “we can expect a new Jay Rock album this year,” his response was a simple “Yassssss.”
He also went on to tease followers by asking if they’d like him to post a few Kendrick tracks. After receiving an overwhelming amount of responses that correlated to “yes,” check out TD’s April Fool’s Day-appropriate response below.
