Snoop Dogg will induct his Death Row label mate, friend and one-half of “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” Tupac Shakur into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next month.

Set to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on April 7, the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will find Snoop inducting Tupac into the coveted Rock Hall. The pair were forces under the Death Row umbrella and recorded records like “2 of Amerkaz Most Wanted” as well as unreleased cuts like “If There’s A Cure.”

Although there’s talk about Snoop and Dr. Dre possibly performing a Tupac tribute at the ceremony, Rolling Stone clarifies that “the final lineup for the all-star Shakur tribute has not been cemented.” If its worth a mention, Kendrick Lamar, who paid homage to Pac on his Grammy winning opus To Pimp A Butterfly, stirred excitement with the release of “The Heart Part 4” last week, hinting at a mystery arrival on April 7th. The Compton rapper’s To Pimp A Butterfly arrived one day after the 20-year anniversary of Tupac’s Me Against the World.

In addition to Pac, the 2017 class of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame includes Pearl Jam, Yes, Joan Baez, Journey and Electric Light Orchestra. The ceremony goes down on April 7 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
