Philadelphia is not only the City of Brotherly Love, it is the City of Artists. This historic area has blessed us with talented individuals such as Patti LaBelle, Jill Scott, Questlove and Eve. But more than ever, we are seeing fewer artists break out from the city, and even fewer female artists.
There have been rappers like Meek Mill and Lil Uzi Vert who have found a way to make it. However, the times are changing and now we may see another breakout female artist. Her name is Bri Steves. As a full-time Temple University student, Steves has successfully built her brand and sound while juggling the typical college workload. Well enough that she has been on the radar of some major record labels.
Check out why REVOLT is impressed with Ms. Bri Steves, making her one of our Women’s History Month features.
