Here we go.

What started of as a feud between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj has since spilled onto the outside. Following the release of Remy’s “shETHER,” fans pointed out a subliminal line in the seven-minute track that appeared to be aimed at Foxy Brown. “Talkin’ sh-t about me to a deaf b-tch,” Remy rapped in the original track. “And usually I have sympathy for the impaired / But not when you hard of hearin’ from untreated gonorrhea.” Since the track hit online, fans deconstructed the lines and pointed out how it references Foxy’s temporarily loss of hearing as well as a rumor from a couple years back about her allegedly receiving gonorrhea. In an Instagram post shortly after the song went viral, Foxy replied to one fan, stating “I don’t battle tho. I bodybag.” Days later, we now have what appears to be an official reply from, you guessed it, Foxy Brown.

Flipping Jay Z’s “Takeover,” following Rem’s use of Nas’ “Ether,” the BK rapstress teased a snippet of “Breaks Over.” Taking Nicki’s side (“And Nick my b-tch”), the rapper is heard spitting lines like “The takeover, the fake’s over,” she raps. “Got your little shot, okay? Thank Mona.” The rapper also references Remy’s prison stint and even throws a callous shot at the rapper’s miscarriage.

Interestingly enough, Lil Kim recently did an interview with Billboard and was asked about rumors circulating about her getting involved in the fray. “They have a rumor out there like, ‘Kim is gonna do a diss track with Remy,’” she said. “First of all, let me tell you this. Number one: y’all giving ol’ girl too much credit. I’m not even thinking about that. I’m not even thinking about ol’ girl! I’m so far past that. That’s never on my mind. Ever. Ol’ girl has never been on my mind for a long ass time at all. So I hate the fact of that being in the equation.”

For now, listen to Foxy’s snippet above and stay tuned for more surprise turns in this ongoing feud.
