Remy Ma and Fat Joe appeared on The Wendy Williams Show today (March 3) and of course, the release of their solid collaborative album Plata O Plomo, the conversation veered into the hottest topic of the week: “shETHER.”

Last night (March 2), Remy dropped a second diss track aimed at Nicki Minaj and during her sit-down today, she revealed how it all started. According to the Bronx rapper, records like “Make Love” and “Swalla” did not fuel her to drop “shETHER.” Instead, it was a series of behind the scenes incidents that led Remy to draw her hand. “When you’re trying to stop my bag, when you’re trying to stop me from taking care of my children, now I have a problem with that,” she stated. “It wasn’t about music. I thought it was wack, I didn’t care. What bothered me was the behind the scenes things. You’re on the top why are you worried about little ol’ me?”

Dressed in all black, which she credits to being prepped for a “funeral,” Remy also revealed that after releasing two back-to-back diss records, she is done. “I’m not waiting to hear anything. I’m done,” she said. “Everything that I said, I said.”

“You gotta be careful who you choose your battles with,” she later added.

When asked by Wendy Williams about her attire, Remy provided social media with another meme-able moment: “My grandmother told me to never speak ill of the dead.”
