Just five days after it was announced that Beyoncé would no longer be performing at Coachella, festival organizers have found her replacement.
Billboard has confirmed that Lady Gaga will fill in for the pregnant star. With her own history of big stage production, signature choreography, and a long list of hits, she’s a comparable performer who would do the headliner slot justice, especially considering the success of both her recently-released album Joanne and her stint as Super Bowl halftime performer.
And those who hit the music festival will likely get a sneak peak at what fans can expect from her ‘Joanne’ tour as she is scheduled to hit the road for the multi-city show in August.
Lady Gaga will perform at Coachella on the Saturday nights, April 15 and 22. Beyoncé will resume as headliner at the 2018 festival.
