Though it’s been over twenty years since his death, Tupac’s name has been making headlines lately as his big-screen biopic is set to hit theaters this summer, it’s been announced that he’ll be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and a thriller revolving around his and the Notorious B.I.G.’s unsolved murders has just been acquired.
But now, ‘Pac’s name is being resurrected for other, less honorable, reasons.
The BMW in which Tupac was shot in on September 7, 1996, only to die a week later, is now up for sale by MomentsInTime.com. It will not be auctioned, but will be sold to a buyer at the cost of $1.5 million, according to TMZ.
After the murder, the car was impounded by Las Vegas police and auctioned off. It has since seen several owners. Though the car has been restored and has more than 90k miles, bullet indentations are still visible inside the door handles.
