For all the music Gucci Mane’s made in his 12-year career, he’s never actually gone on tour, an experience likely hindered by jail stints and house arrests. But now that he’s free and has a new album on the way, La Flare is embarking on his first-ever tour.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Gucci’s ‘TrapGod Tour’ will run for one month and 19 stops across America, including his appearance at Coachella.

On what fans can expect from the nationwide show, Gucci revealed to CR Men’s Book his inspiration–and they’re unexpected.

“I’ve been looking at Flaming Lips concerts and, I’m not saying I want to do it just like they did it, but I want people to feel like that when they come to my show. I just want it to be like a big party. I want people to sweat. I don’t want people to come trying to look all pretty. No, I want you to leave the concert wet as hell, like you’ve been working out for damn near an hour and a half. If I could mix anybody, I would want to mix Jimi Hendrix, the Flaming Lips, and Liberace. I want to look like Liberace, just big diamonds, shining. But I want the production to be like the Lips. I want the crowd to feel that sweat, like Hendrix. That’s how I want it.”

Gucci added, “I’m a hell of a recording artist, but I want to be a better live performer.”

He’ll have plenty of material to perform as last year saw him drop studio albums Everybody Looking and The Return of East Atlanta Santa, collaborative EPs Free Bricks (with Future) and 1017 vs. the World (with Lil Uzi Vert), and mixtape Woptober.
