The onslaught has begun. Future will have plenty of brand new material to take home with him during his “Nobody Safe Tour” this Spring. The Atlanta bred superstar announced his second surprise LP in two weeks is coming on Friday. The project, HNDRXX, is named after one of Future’s most popular nicknames, “Hendrix”.
“The album I always wanted to make, timing is everything & with that being said #HNDRXX link in my bio,” Future posted on his Instagram page, along with the album, an abstract black and white photo of the melodic hitmaker with his head tilted down. He also tagged Rihanna and The Weekend on the photo, alluding to the two’s participation on the project. He’s collaborated with both in the past. The album pre-order link reveals HNDRXX has 17 tracks, but no song titles or features are shown.
Later, Future elaborated more. “Who told u, you couldn’t b exactly who u wanted to be? They lied, they wasn’t bold, they didn’t have the ambition, they didn’t have the courage they was mislead,” he wrote. “They didn’t believe in they self when no one else would. They cared about what other people thought of them, they gave up not knowing God wouldn’t give u more than u could handle. They didn’t sew seeds, they didn’t have the passion, they didn’t have the drive, they didn’t tell u all of their flaws because they was scared of not being accepted by their peers. They said ‘I can’t , I tried ,I need help,’ but not me #HNDRXX”
Just last week Future promulgated his current album, aptly titled Future was coming on February 17. He also let it be known that he was headlining a tour called “Nobody Safe” with Migos, Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, Young Thug and A$AP Ferg. That outing starts in the beginning of May and ends in late June.
