Any inkling that Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown used to have mad love for one another seems to be long gone. The 28-year-old model has filed a domestic violence restraining order against the singer, according to TMZ. The order requires Brown to stay at least 100 yards away from Tran, her mother, and her brother.
In a sworn statement to a judge, Tran divulged that earlier this month, Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill me.” She added that he “threatened to shoot me” as a way of ensuring no one else gets a chance to date his her.
Tran also alleged that Brown, who infamously assaulted his ex-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, had also been physically abusive toward her. She stated that several years ago he “punched me in the stomach twice” and “pushed me down the stairs.”
News of the restraining order and that Brown was reportedly physically abusive toward Tran swept the internet with many expressing frustration with Brown and coming to Tran’s defense.
At the time of publishing neither Tran nor Brown have publicly commented on the order and new allegations of abuse.
Earlier this year, Brown took to Instagram in a now-deleted clip to admit that he was a “stalker” prone to possessive actions. He said:
“Ladies, y’all be complaining about ni—as being, like, stalkers and in love with y’all, kinda crazy shit, and get tired of it. Well, guess what? I’m one of them ni—as. If I love you, bitch, ain’t nobody gonna have you. I’m gonna make you miserable. I’ma chase that ni—a out. I’ma chase your ass around. Ladies, y’all ever dealt with a ni—a that just be, like, blowing y’all shit up, hopping gates, stalking the f—k out of you, getting on your nerves? Well, shit, I’m one of them ni—as. If I love you, bitch, ain’t nobody gonna have you. F—k that, I’m tearing up everything, ni—a.”
