Rick Ross’ 9th LP has a release date. MMG tag teamed with legendary comedian Chris Rock for the announcement via social media.

“I want to say what’s up my man Ricky Ross, Ricky Rozay, the greatest rapper alive,” Rock said in a video message. “He’s got a new album coming out called Rather You Than Me. It Drops March 17 with the hit single “I Think She Like Me” featuring Ty Dolla Sign. I also want to shout out LA Reid and the Maybach Music Group.”

Ross is dropping a huge remix to “Buy Back The Block” very soon with a host of MC. The original features Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz.

The March 17 date for Rather You Than Me lines up around the time Meek Mill wants to release DC 4.5. In an exclusive interview with REVOLT last Friday after his Meek Mill and Friends show, the Philly spitter said to look for the project within the next month or so.

“We got a lot of new music coming soon,” Meek said on Friday in a locker room inside Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. Guest Including DMX, T.I. Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Yo Gotti and Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid joined him onstage. “Niggas got 30 days to get their shit ready. I’ma say 40 days. We gonna jump right back in the mix. I was supposed to drop today but it was a lot of clearances and issues and shit like that. It really would have got nasty. But I’m gonna give y’all a good 30, 40 days. Let’s get it. Us against y’all. We gonna let the music talk.”
