Solange, who won a Grammy herself tonight, came to her sister’s defense moments after Beyonce lost Album of the Year to Adele. Solo swiftly posted to Twitter a link to a Tumblr post penned by Frank Ocean in which he explained why he withheld his Blonde album from Grammy eligibility this year.

His reason: The Grammys simply suffer from “cultural bias” and he feels successful without their acknowledgment — a suggestion Solo seemed to be encouraging towards her sis.

“WINNING A TV AWARD DOESN’T CHRISTEN ME SUCCESSFUL…I AM YOUNG, BLACK, GIFTED AND INDEPENDENT.. THAT’S MY TRIBUTE…YOU KNOW WHAT’S REALLY NOT ‘GREAT TV’ GUYS? [TAYLOR SWIFT’S] ‘1989’ GETTING ALBUM OF THE YEAR OVER [KENDRICK LAMAR’S] ‘TO PIMP A BUTTERFLY.’…BELIEVE THE PEOPLE…USE THE OLD GRAMOPHONE TO ACTUALLY LISTEN BRO…IF YOU’RE UP FOR A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE CULTURAL BIAS AND GENERAL NERVE DAMAGE THE SHOW YOU PRODUCE SUFFERS FROM THEN I’M ALL FOR IT.”

UPDATE: Solange has since deleted the tweet, but the Internet knew that would happen and nabbed a photo.
