It’s unsurprising when you’re, pound for pound, the best lyricist, but Big Sean did indeed officially nab the No.1 album in the country with his recently-released effort I Decided.

The rapper debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart upon earning 151,000 equivalent album units; 65,000 of which were traditional sales.

This isn’t his first time at the peak of the list, either. His last album, 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise, shot to the top after selling 173,000 units; 139,000 of which were traditional.

Sean recognized the magnitude of the achievement on Twitter, noting the irony in his album claiming the No.1 spot on the 10th anniversary of the debut from his mentor Kanye West.

Physical versions of I Decided don’t hit stores until Friday (February 17), so fans assisted in Sean’s achievement by consuming the album digitally.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on traditional album sales, on-demand streaming, and digital track sales. It equates both 10 digital track sales from an album and 1,500 song streams from an album to one equivalent album sale.
