Meek Mill has been through a slew and ups and down the past couple of years since his first headlining “Meek Mill and Friends” show in Philadelphia. But none of that matters to the fans in the City of Brotherly Love; they are going to support their hometown hero regardless.

On Friday (February 10), “Meek Mill and Friends” came back for Part 2 at the Wells Fargo Arena. T.I., DMX, Jadakiss, Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta, PNB Rock, Shy Glizzy a.k.a. Jefe, new group Brotherly Love, DJ Mustard, YG and Nipsey Hussle, Philadelphia 76er Joel Embiid and, of course, the head of MMG Rick Ross all came out as surprise guests at the concert, then there was Tory Lanez who sings on Meek’s new theme “Litty Again.”

After a successful show that had fans on their feet for a couple of hours, Meek grinned as he talked about switching the name of his outing, which he says will be annual now.

“We changed the name from ‘Meek And Friends,’ it’s called ‘Littville’ now,” he joked. “Every year it’s going down. ‘Meek Mill and Friends.’ Philly, we had a great night. It always feels good when you in your city. Your whole city showing your appreciation and love. We call it ‘The Meekend,’ not the weekend.”

Just like he did during his last headlining concert in the city, Meek said he wanted to bring the music industry to his hometown.

“I wanted to bring something to the city for everybody that supported me,” he explained. “Shout out to every artist that came through, ’cause I don’t think y’all know, when the artists come through and support us, they coming through on the strength. They’re coming through on the strength of me, the strength of Philadelphia, so shout out to everybody. Shout out to everybody that attended. Everybody that said we could do it, everybody that said we couldn’t do it, we here.”
