Young Thug made an impressive (and slightly accidental) entry into the running for Video of the Year when he dropped the visual for “Wyclef Jean” off his latest album, Jeffery. Directed by Pomp&Clout, the 5-minute playful vid almost didn’t happen since the rap superstar never actually made it to set. Still, with a chock-full of kiddie cars, gorgeous models and “juxtaposition,” it’s quite the masterpiece.

Though Young Thug didn’t appear his popular vid (besides a pre-recorded clip of him eating Cheetos), the gender-bending star will be featured in an upcoming episode of Backstage Access, a series that gives an inside look at how celebrities prep for the stage.
