Sunday night is set up to be the biggest night of Chance the Rapper’s young musical career. The 23 year-old is not only nominated for over half a dozen awards—including Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album and Best New Artist — but he’s already made Grammy history. His Coloring Book mixtape is the first stream-only project to be nominated for a Grammy. Today in LA, REVOLT caught up with Chance at the Beverly Hills Hilton when non other than REVOLT Chairman Diddy stopped him for an interview.

“Chance The Rapper, Chance the Rapper, this is your boy Puff Daddy, roving reporter, here with REVOLT, here with Chance,” Diddy said. “How many Grammy nominations do you have sir?”

“It’s seven and it’s looking pretty promising for Sunday night.”

Of course, even just one win out of the seven is a major victory for the beloved Chicago MC. And we all know, a victory deserves a celebration.

“Any after party plans?” Diddy asked.

“I actually was trying to go to your after party, but they told me your leg was messed up, so there wasn’t no party? Is that the truth?”

“That’s not the truth. There’s always an undisclosed party, which I’ll give you the information to,” Puff clarified. “I just want to tell you I’m proud of you my brother and do you have a message to the people that’s watching REVOLT right now?”

“Revolting! It’s a revolution. We out here baby” Chance closed out with excitement.

Chance and Diddy were one of the many celebrities on hand both in person and on flat screens, coming out to support DJ Khaled and the announcement of his new LP Grateful.

Although Chance did not confirm his involvement, Khaled did post a picture of the two on Instagram. Chance was in the recording and Khaled stood by the booth’s window in a confident b-boy stance.

“Today is historic,” Chance said standing at the podium where Khaled a press conference. “I’m here to celebrate and stand in solidarity with a man who has done historic things time and time again.”

Backstage at the conference, Khaled spoke to REVOLT about the album title.

“The idea of the album basically, is exactly what the title is,” Khaled explained. “I’m very grateful, I’m forever grateful. I take nothing for granted. When I’m making this music, with some of these superstar icons in the studio with me, I’m grateful for them. I’m grateful for my son, I’m grateful for my fans. I’m grateful for all the DJs, radio stations. I’m grateful for REVOLT for broadcasting this love. Because that’s what we have to do is broadcast love. The title is exactly what it is. I’m grateful. Forever grateful.”
