Swizz Beatz announced as guest for "Drink Champs" this Thursday on REVOLT

  /  01.30.2017

It’s always special to be able to mix business and pleasure and, as the latest guest on “Drink Champs” last week in Miami, Swizz Beatz kicked it with co-host N.O.R.E. about their near 20-year friendship and made new music together after.

In an epic sit-down, the three men—including co-host DJ EFN—discussed everything: working for the first time on Banned From TV, Swizz’s family harmony, the origins of Ruff Ryders, and so much more.

“I need this to be the illest f—king interview,” Swizz adamantly insisted. “Do not let me leave unless it’s your best interview. Seriously. Whatever y’all want! Let’s go. I want this to be the best f—king interview on ‘Drink Champs’ because N.O.R.E. is my man. I love him. I love y’all because he loves y’all.”

Naturally, the hosts asked the super-producer about the songs he loves, and the legendary maestro even told them about which records he envies.

“I wished I produced ‘[All About] The Benjamins,’” Swizz said. “I wished I produced ‘They Want EFX’ by Das EFX. You know how [DJs] used to pull back the intro to the song. This was before I got on. I was like, ‘Damn, imagine if I did something like that. Where would I be?’ [And] ‘Just To Get a Rep’ [by] Gang Starr.”

Tune in to Drink Champs every Thursday at 11 PM ET on REVOLT. Be sure to catch the re-air Saturday nights at midnight ET.
