T.I. is more of community activist than a politician, and so during a recent sit-down with host Drink Champs N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, the King of the South said he would never run for President of the United States. Still, he and fellow guests French Montana and A$AP Rocky did have some ideas about which hip-hop figures would be good for the Oval Office.

“We need to raise someone who’s born and entrenched in and who studied hip-hop, have them do politics,” Tip opined.

“Killer Mike would be good,” EFN said about who he wanted as President.

“I’d go for Killer Mike,” Tip agreed.

French Montana said he would lean towards Jay Z as Prez, but T.I. countered: “Anybody used to getting that much money, man, you gotta be a certain amount of selfish to make it. “

N.O.R.E. and EFN also offered that Bun B would make an “ill” Leader of the Free World.

But T.I. still argued, “You guys are not being realistic. All I’m saying is, you have to think about the entire spectrum of the country. Of course, me, as a southern nigga, I’d love to see Bun B as the President. But I’ve got to know that there’s muthaf—kas elsewhere that won’t feel like they’re being represented.”

Other names to come up as potential great candidates were J. Cole, Common, and David Banner. Who would your choice would be? Let us know in the poll below.
