Slim Jxmmi & Theory Communications brought in his 25^th birthday in true superhero style. The Marvel-themed event took attendees into the world of a kick-ass arcade where one of rap’s favorite tag teams dressed in costume. The Think Tank Gallery provided the perfect atmosphere, with a 3-D Gotham City-style projection wall and Wonder Woman dancers that really drew me into the vibe of the event — a very creative touch.

The star-studded party was attended by Skrillex, Diplo, Ty Dolla $ign, 24Hrs, Keke Palmer, Bre-Z, Grizzle, and D.R.A.M. REVOLT got a few words from the duo, and Jxmmi talked about how special it was to have this birthday celebration.

“It’s your boy Uncle Jxmmi,” he said. “I’m saving these hoes. I’m saving the day. I’m saving the rap game. I’m 25. I’m grown and sexy; it’s official.”

We also got a chance to talk to Swae Lee about Sremmfest, which took place in their home town of Tupelo, Mississippi. “We just shut Sremmfest down. We brought life to the city. Everybody was turned up,” he said.
