Details are scarce, however REVOLT TV has confirmed that Troy Ave was shot multiple times Sunday in Brooklyn. According to a source close to Troy, the rapper was visiting family on Christmas, driving in a red Maserati with an unidentified female passenger. The luxury vehicle was on Linden Boulevard somewhere between 91st and 92nd street, when an unknown gunman opened fired on the car. Troy was struck in the back and arm and grazed in head.

After getting away from the assailant, Troy crashed his vehicle and was taken to a nearby hospital by a friend where he remains and is in stable condition. This is second time this year Troy, ne Roland Collins, has been shot. In May he was shot in the leg and his friend/security guard Ronald “Banger” McPhatter was killed by gunfire at Irving Plaza. In the aftermath, Troy was charged with attempted murder after he was shown opening fire on the surveillance cameras at the venue.

Detectives from the 67th Precinct, the precinct handling today’s shooting, declined to comment on the incident.
