Kodak Black is back at again with the bold and controversial comments.

Just six months after he declared himself “better than 2Pac and Biggie,” which resulted in the summer mixtape Lil B.I.G. Pac, the Pompano Beach native has returned with another boastful claim and last night (December 18) he took to Twitter to declare himself “best rapper alive.”

Taking a page out of Lil Wayne’s book, and name checking the fiery rap titan, Kodak did what Wayne himself did in 2005 and declared himself the “best f—king rapper alive.” Wayne famously made the claim on the critically acclaimed Tha Carter II for the song “Best Rapper Alive.” On the record, Wayne confidently proclaimed himself top shotta, rhyming: “The young heart attack, I spit that cardiac / You can’t see me, baby boy, you got dat cataracts… Since everyone’s a king, well where the f—k ya palace at?”

Just like his comments about B.I.G. and Pac over the summer, the rapper is seemingly using the bold claims as a way to describe his focus as he works towards building his comeback following his recent jail stint and pending trial.

Since his return, Kodak has already dropped two records including, “There He Go,” as well as his collaboration with Yo Gotti, dubbed “Weatherman.”

Does Kodak actually have what it takes to fulfill the foundation that Lil Wayne put down?
