Kanye West knows how to keep the people talking even without saying much at all.

Since his release from the hospital following a “nervous breakdown,” West has only publicly been spotted twice: at a Los Angeles art exhibit…and at a meeting with President-Elect Donald Trump. And he’s only tweeted four times, all of which regarded the aforementioned meeting.

And it’s these latter moves that have got even his friends weighing in.

Yesterday, John Legend expressed his “disappointment” in his G.O.O.D. Music labelmate, while A$AP Ferg supported ‘Ye calling him “strategic.”

And today, both ‘Ye’s “So Appalled” collaborator RZA and former G.O.O.D. Music signee Common shared their opinions, too.

TMZ caught up with the Wu-Tang leader who believed Kanye’s intentions could be “positive,” saying:

“I didn’t talk to him in a long time so I can’t really speak on where his head is at, but…that’s positive. Trump is the president and we’re gonna have to talk to him, deal with him, build with him, make sure that some of the things he’s dealing with is reflecting on our community. If Kanye’s willing to speak for our community, bong, bong!”

Common also spoke to TMZ and simply agreed to disagree with his fellow Chicagoan, but kept hope alive.

“Kanye, that’s my brother. That’s my family right there. So he gon’ do what he chooses to do. I think a lot of the change we’re looking for is going to happen from the people. The power is in the people. It’s going to be us to really galvanize no matter what color you are; look out for each other, start economically supporting each other and holding politicians accountable, find out what’s going on with mass incarceration, changing some of these laws, this jailing people. So, to answer your question, Kanye, that’s my guy, that’s my homie. That’s going always to be my brother. Some things he does, that’s what he chooses to do. I know I’m going to do things the way I choose to do them and we gon’ do them together, that’s how love go.”
