Kanye West will not be released from the hospital as originally planned. According to TMZ, the rapper is not stable enough and there is now no set date for his release.

West, who was expected to be released today (November 28), was taken and admitted to UCLA Medical Center last week after he had reportedly attempted to assault a staff member at a gym. According to the police report, West’s personal physician called 911 and told authorities he had placed him on a 5150 psychiatric hold after the incident. The health scare, which was originally believed to be due to “exhaustion and sleep deprivation,” arrived after he canceled remaining dates of his Saint Pablo Tour.

Now, it is being reported by sources that West is still unstable and there is now no release date set because he has yet to recover from his breakdown last week.

Over the weekend, news broke out that West struggled with extreme paranoia at the UCLA Medical Center and at one point did not want doctors to touch him. The paranoia is believed to have been triggered by his wife Kim Kardashian’s robbery last month. “It did a number on him as much as Kim,” sources told US Weekly. “The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.”

In related news, Q-Tip, who tags in Kanye for a feature on A Tribe Called Quest’s We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, was recently asked about Ye’s condition and his unfortunate comments about Donald Trump. Delivering a pained response, Tip noted, “It’s difficult because I love him.”

“That’s my brother, you know what I’m saying? I reached out to him and I’m hoping that we just get to talk. I just probably will leave it there because I really care about that dude. But his remarks are something that require he and I having a real serious discussion.”
