Think red for this coming holiday.
With the holidays right around the corner, YG is prepping a brand new project to add to the weekend soundtrack and he’s complimenting it with a familiar strategy. As his second project for 2016, following the June release of Still Brazy, YG is set to drop his mixtape Red Friday on Friday (November 25).
To compliment the release, the Compton rapper is taking a page out of his “FDT” pal Nipsey Hussle’s Crenshaw formula by setting the forthcoming project with a $100 price tag. Teaming with Nipsey’s Proud 2 Pay company, YG revealed the news on Twitter and noted that the physical copies of Red Friday will cost the hefty price with 1,400 copies set to be shipped out. For those who can’t contribute $100, Red Friday will also be available digitally.
