Remember when Jhené Aiko was like “But he gotta eat the booty like groceries” and we all dropped our jaws and clutched our pearls and tried to cover the youth’s ears in an effort to keep them pure?
Well, that was just a precursor. Jhené has seen our shock, and raised it. Just kidding; her new song “Maniac” is pretty nasty though.
In the vein of Beyonce’s “Partition” or Rihanna’s…anything, Jhené describes her sex skills with detail and aplomb, explicitly and with expletives, over a beat driven by a percussive bounce that sounds both echoed and underwater. She claims the titular phrase on the chorus (“Have you ever fucked with a maniac, maniac? / You just made love to a maniac, maniac”), but it’s on the verses that she’s truly no-holds-barred.
“Hop on that dick like a maniac / Head like a brainiac / Gotta read the sign like a zodiac / I’m a lowkey freak, you don’t know me yet / Good head got a lil’ bite to it / Little booty got a lil’ bounce to it / We can go all damn night to it / Wife that, gon’ throw rice to it.”
The singer has been teasing the track for days, with newly-created hashtags…

Taylor is also a master of shibari, an ancient Japanese artistic form of rope bondage, that Jhené discovered on Tumblr several years ago and wanted to use in the visuals to further the song’s sexual empowerment message, according to Billboard.
Jhené is currently working on both her new solo album and the debut LP for Twenty88 (her duo with boyfriend Big Sean), as he recently confirmed on Twitter.
