Dave Chappelle returns in new "SNL" promo
The legend will “kick it” at 30 Rock this weekend.
This weekend’s installment of Saturday Night Live should be nothing short of monumental. With Donald Trump now the elected 45th President of the United States, the sketch program is sure to have loads to say. However, Trump isn’t the only reason viewers are getting excited for the upcoming episode, Dave Chappelle is hosting.
The comedian will take the stage at 30 Rock in New York City for the first time and it’s up in the air as to what he may contribute to the show, which has had Alec Baldwin putting on the best impersonation of Trump in the show’s cold opens for the last few weeks. Joining Chappelle is A Tribe Called Quest, who will serve as musical guests in support of their final album, We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service.
In a new 15-second promo, Chappelle journeys through NBC studios, somber and silent, as the intro for “Can I Kick It?” plays throughout. Check it out below.
