We’re no longer able to sing “My President Is Black,” and that fact alone might have some dragging their feet this morning. Lord willing, you’ll have many more elections to vote in, but this is not the one to sit out.

Because music moves us, Jenifer Lewis composed an original tune, putting the importance of today into song:

But you can’t really listen to that in line at the polls.

With this in mind, REVOLT staff came together to compile some songs to motivate you through this process. Sure, we have a lot to be mad about, but it’s gon be alright. And if you don’t like the results tonight, take heart: In four years, we will try again, and a change is gonna come.
