With the presidential election just days away, super producer Metro Boomin wanted to ensure that Republican candidate Donald Trump does not serve as the next commander-in-chief of the United States of America. For his part Metro put on a special concert for the youth, featuring some special guests, encouraging all to get out and vote.

“Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump” took place Friday evening (November 5) at the Playstation Theater in New York City and was nothing short of amazing. The sold-out venue was full of millennials who were not only dancing and singing along to hit after hit on Metro Boomin’s DJ set but chanting the three words that brought everyone there in the first place, “F-ck Donald Trump!”

Metro didn’t come alone, either. While Atlanta rapper 21 Savage kicked things off performing Metro Boomin produced-bangers such as “Savage Mode” and “Bad Guy,” 21 surprised the engaged crowd when he brought Brooklyn rapper Casanova to the stage performing his single, “Don’t Run.”

Metro Boomin says his anti-Trump concert doesn’t mean he’s pro-Hillary Clinton

When it was time for Metro to bless the stage, he showed everyone why he is one of the hottest DJs and producers around. Metro made sure to show major love to Gucci Mane and the GS9 crew during his set while he also paid tribute to the late Shawty Lo and A$AP Yams. After dropping throwback hits from artists like DMX, Kanye West, and Rick Ross, which had the crowd going wild, Metro conjointly shared some current heat, dropping Big Sean’s new single “Bounce Back.” However, nobody was ready for the surprise the super-producer had in store for the crowd next.

As he began to play Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” intro, fans sang along word for word, but nobody thought that the Philly rapper would take the stage and actually join them. After astonishing fans with his special guest appearance Meek Mill made sure to perform a few songs from his latest album, DC4.

While Metro put on this concert to show young people that it’s not lame to care about politics or getting out to vote, all proceeds from “Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump” will be going to a yearly scholarship fund that will send a graduating senior from his hometown, St. Louis, Missouri, off to Morehouse College.

“I’m making zero dollars off of this show. I’m doing this for the culture, the people, and to send kids to college. Let’s turn the f-ck up!” said Metro.
