On Monday (October 31), Big Sean hit the internet with two new songs in the course of a few hours. The first record he dropped was called “No More Interviews,” produced by himself and Amaire Johnson, where he vented about his ex and the relationship between himself, Kanye West, and former labelmate Kid Cudi.

There wasn’t any conformation on or offline that Cudi ever intentionally came at Big Sean, but the lyrics make it obvious that there has been some sort of miscommunication between the two artists:

Cudi and Ye, what happened to our family ways though? / When I put you on that song with Nas you told me that you were forever grateful, and now we brothers / So it hurt to hit the internet to find out that me and you don’t f-ck with each other, over a miscommunication / It probably could be fixed with a five-minute conversation. Im still praying for ya.

On “Bounce Back,” Big Sean speaks about taking a few losses but recovering. We’re all curious to know what L’s he’s talking about on account of the fact that Big Sean has had an amazing year musically. Dark Sky Paradise went platinum, and his collaboration with Jhene Aiko, TWENTY88, had everyone talking.

Two full songs in one day? We would like to think Big Sean is up to something. Along with dropping the two songs, he also posted some Instagram photos of apparel that is inspired by the records.
